TWiki is very slow compared to other things. I ended up switching to
phpwiki for the new linux.org.uk because

a) its db based so far faster
b) it has a wonderful 'export the wiki as static pages' option which is
a godsend for a busy site.

It's still about people creating the content not about the tools though.
DRI has wonderful documentation now thanks to Jose and co but not because
of the tools but because people got off their backsides and did stuff
