I think that it is very easy to be seen as defensive when you pounce on the assumption that mistakes that could be explained by lack of organisation are evidence of malice. If you really want to mend these rifts, you could start by being a little more tolerant. It is also extremely hypocritical for you to accuse this ad-hoc group of "unopenness" or manipulative tactics, when the XFree BOD has (so far) not demonstrated *any* openness either in its internal deliberations or in substantiating the venomous accusations made against Keith Packard. -d
