If they are not going to write any code, then whatever it is that they want,
they will have to live without.

It seems some people are seeing proposed changes as giving over control of
the direction of XFree86 to the 'general public'. But, in fact, I don't
think anyone truly wants that. Control should be with the people who write
the code.

Please tell me if I'm way off base here, but I believe all proposals thus far
have been attempts to allow more people to write code and *retain*
control over what they wrote when it is incorporated into the project,
rather than dish off control to the masses.
