Yes, of course. David is one the co-founders of Tungsten Graphics and is listed as the current Senior Architect there. Tungsten Graphics does contract driver development for companies such as Intel for their latest graphics chipsets like the i845 and i865. As as the Senior Architect I assume David has responsibility for overseeing this development, if not being himself directly involved in the coding. That is an assumption, of course. Regardless he is a founder of Tungsten Graphics and hence a co-owner I imagine (since founders generally own a percentage of companies they found). Tungsten gets paid real money to develop XFree86 drivers on behalf of companies like Intel. That is a commercially vested interest in my book. But as I said before, everyone has some vested interest and many of us have commercially vested interests. There is nothing wrong with that, but lets not try to kid ourselves into believing that the only vested interests here are the 'outsiders' such as Keith Packard.
