Perhaps you can explain why my assumptions are wrong, rather than just
telling me they are wrong? Clearing from this web site (updated Jan 1st
2003):

http://www.tungstengraphics.com/our_team.html

Dave Dawes is a part of Tungsten graphics, who get paid real $$$ to work
on XFree86 drivers by companies such as Intel. If that is not the case,
his information should be removed from the site. It also list him as a co-
founder, which means in the standard business sense that he owns stock in
the company. I have never heard of a company founder not have any stock
in the company, but I guess it is possible (but no-one has said whether
this assumption is false or not).

Bear in mind that like Alan I have nothing against companies getting paid
to work on XFree86.
