for a program which takes the DDC/EDID info and converts it into a 
format which can be fed to xcmsdb to set up the XDCCC data.
Conventional wisdom is that on average the color info provided by the 
monitor is worse than using the default.
This is definitely not Xinerama safe, but would probably work for
a dual-head setup.
