I don't really think of myself as pro-KP; I'd say I'm pro- having both
KP and DD working on the same codebase. And in the future, having a
larger group of people working on said codebase instead of relying on
a small number of superstars to do everything, even the easy tasks.

Anyhow, I don't think "google fight" is really meaningful, even if the
issue were personalities. We should be looking at the merits of the
points made, not who is making them.
