"no screens found" error

 Hi,

 My problem seems like a common one experienced by first time linux
installers such as myself, so hopefully somebody can help.

 I just installed Debian on a Dell 2350 desktop. Unfortunately, startx
doesn't run properly - it loads the drivers etc, and the spits out "no
screens found".

 I've run 'dpkg' to configure the xserver with the correct informations
about the graphics card, mouse, keyboard, monitor, etc. However, there is
just nothing I can do to figure out the cause of the problem.

 My hardware configuration is as follows:

 Graphics: Integrated Intel 845GL
