I'm wondering what the forums achieved other than provided a place for
people to vent their frustrations.

Is Keith still frozen out of XFree CVS?

Have any of the issues that were decided to be important been actively
addressed since?

The conference calls that were promising at first have ended in a 'let's
just use the forum mail list' and... nobody using it.

Personally I'd liked to have seen a friendly fork where Keith and other such
experimentalists could get on with their work unhindered by politics and the
XFree team could integrate what worked back into the XFree86 tree.  But that
seems just as unlikely as progress being made out of all of the flamebait
that occurred.
