All the off-topic messages are a minor annoyance to me and not a huge deal, but here are some options I can think of to deal with them, or not. * status quo, do nothing * intensify the name of the list, change it to "advocacy" or something similar (If this were a newsgroup, what would its name be?) * swap purposes with [email protected], nobody ever uses that one anyway * close it down because there are off-topic msgs * close it down since the initial burst of activity is over Sort of reminds me where I used to work, we did not have a "support@" alias. Customers would send mail to support, and it would bounce to postmaster, and then we would deal with it. We could strenuously assert all day long that we had an(other) email address for tech support, and we would be right, but we would still be wrong. <tongue in cheek>The customer is always wrong</tongue in cheek>, but sometimes you have to make reasonable accomodation. ===== -- Craig Groeschel >ladder91 at yahoo dot com< AT '00 Tread lightly.
