There is a big difference between "working" and "working well".

If you want good OpenGL performance, you need the drivers from nVIDIA. 
If you don't need that, then the regular ones are reasonable.

I have compared the two with Quake III and there is a BIG difference.

The nVIDIA site has instructions on how to install the drivers.  It was
pretty clear and simple to do.  (The instructions on TV-OUT were less
so, however.)
