[0008] I've seen in Enlightenment.  [0009] I've seen in CDE.  [0010]
is an adaptation of Apple's ``Genie'' effect to virtual desktops.
[0011] is just like twm's icon thingie (whatever it's called).

As far as I understand patent law (and of course IANAPL), it is
possible to patent a combination of features every one of which has
seen prior usage.  This patent appears to be an example of this.

(Did I mention that you should write to your elected representative to
tell him about the evils of software patents?)
