FW: Xfree86 4.4 vs Xorg Wrap-up

 As far as debian, their stable is 4.1 and Sarge, to be debuted this summer,won't have 2.6.  I'm sure in a few _years_  debian will catch up to Slackware, NetBsd et alia as mentioned on our home page http://www.xfree86.org.
