you have to attack us here fully without reason ? If this is some
personal response to Branden, then please provide also the message you

Also, you are wrong. True, debian/woody has only XFree86 4.1, but then
it was frozen in early spring 2002, and i don't think 4.2 was yet
released or at most released since a short time.

And stop spreading lies, debian has 2.6 (i assume you speak about the
kernel, not sure, maybe you speak about gnome, in this case it is not
yet decided ?).

And, please, change email client, this is really not serious to use one
that only outputs such giberrish as what we see above.

You have not yet realised. No linux distro of any importance will
probably ship XFree86 4.4. I have warned about this, but you all choose
to mostly ignore it, so you brought it upon yourself.
