Don, XFree86 as most other projects is a volunteer organization.
Why is it the XFree86 project's problem that your laptop doesn't work?
Why isn't it the laptop vendor's problem? Does the XFree86 project
even have the time or documentation necessary to make your laptop
work? Do they even have one of these laptops to test on? Why didn't
you check that your laptop was supported before you bought it?
I would suggest that another problem is people who benefit
from the volunteer work of open source project yet who don't give
anything back except for criticism.
