http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=14511 A reader sent this into Webmaster about the Inquirer's interview with Dave on the license. My personal favoritequote was: But David Dawes seems a little suspicious: "I have heard privately that some vendors were planning to move to an X.Org release even before this licence issue came up. That probably makes business sense for the vendors given that X.Org is a vendor-oriented organization sponsored by hardware and software companies, while XFree86 is an independent group of volunteer developers. I suspect that the licence issue may have affected the timing, but not the end result", he concluded.Well anyways, it makes for good reading. The fellow, Joe Purcell, wants to know if we are going to start a news page on XF86 mentions sorta XF86 in the Press. I'm not sure about that as it could get unwieldly, but if I continue to get the help I've been
getting perhaps it's something we could do. Well I just thought I should mention it.
In the meantime, thanks Joe for the tip.
Regards Gee-
