Georgina, again you are spreading FUD. 

Debian has never let security bugs open, and altough debian's politic is
not to upgrade software versions during the lifetime of stable, security
holes are fixed, often by backporting the security fix from a later
version, or writing it themself. Thus guaranteeing that the new version
does not introduce unwanted unstability. And i believe the whole
industry knows the quality of the work done by the debian security team,
so please stop spreading FUD. If you are uninformed and ignorant of
this, please take this oportunity to remedy to your ignorance, but if
you are claiming this by malice, i think i have nothing left to say to
you.

Yeah, sure, and Debian you can have for free, so ...

(And i am sure that for the 10 or so obscure distros who chose to ship
4.4, i am sure that you could find way more that don't, and i also am
not fully 100% sure that those distros that do indeed ship 4.4 do so in
full accordance of the new licence).
