(01:34:31) walrus121: Most of the major distributions have either left
XFree86 behind and switched to X.org, or are using XFree86 4.3.
(01:35:15) DJ Fraggy: makes sense
(01:35:28) DJ Fraggy: I had heard a time ago about shit happening with
xfree86
(01:36:19) DJ Fraggy: those guys have always acted bastardly to people
(01:36:43) DJ Fraggy: so it doesnt surprise me
(01:38:22) walrus121: Well, the core team dissolving was supposed to
make things more open and allow more outside involvement. Only problem
is, once that happened, the only one who was involved in the decision
making anymore was the XFree86 President, David Dawes. So they went
from a Roman Senate to a Cuban Dictatorship.
(01:39:04) DJ Fraggy: hahaha
(01:39:12) DJ Fraggy: did you come up with that analogy?
(01:39:17) DJ Fraggy: thats awesome
(01:39:42) DJ Fraggy: and they left for good reason too heh
(01:40:05) walrus121: Yeah, I did. I should send this to the XFree86
Forum...
