Also, other people do it like that too, one of the project that is cited as doing it right, the Gnome project, went into full tirany mode to enforce the HIG and the change of gnome toward a more simple, option-less, corporate-friendly gnome. Not to forget the outcry the galeon 2 project was taking because of strict HIG following, and which lead to the galeon/epiphany fork. Do you really think that users would have voted for the HIG ? The new gnome target group doesn't even know of it, and most of the old user base was seriously pissed about it. I was too, but i find gnome 2.2 nice, altough i really didn't care about the pre-fork galeon 2 direction (which removed functionality for the sake of removing functionality). Friendly, Sven Luther
