I was completing the tests as well on Xfree4.3.0 before discussing the issue here. I did try to contact X.org in order to coordinate the work but i did not get any answer back (probably someone here can tell me why?). Anyway I will bring up a thread in a week or so since I am leaving for the next week and I won't be able to follow the discussion. You can start anyway taking a look here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=172962 just a note. the patches are actually not online at the url specified in the thread. If there is any debian user out there you cat apt-get source xfree86 from debian.fabbione.net and check for debian/patches/99* As I wrote in there and i repeat here some pieces of code ar workarounds to some debian and linux specific issues due also to my limited knowledge of X. Regards Fabio PS just note that i will not be able to answer back for the next week or so. -- drac (1.11-7) unstable; urgency=low * added IPv6 patch from the great IPv6 Team -- Noel Koethe <[email protected]> Sun, 9 Feb 2003 19:33:00 +0100
