i sent in a patch for a mouse driver a couple of years 
back and recieved no reply whatsoever, of course, now i've 
learnt a bit more about the need for "resend 5" subject lines, 
but still, it would be really nice if i could have simply added 
the patch to bugzilla. gentoo is a very good example of this 
working. now at least xfree86 actually has a bugzilla, but still, 
its extremely empty. hopefully it will get some more usage. could
you (or whoever is responsible) add a link too it on the 
xfree86.org page? (currently i see the new item only)

a [core|desktop]-devel list is required then. both of the
current mailing lists are currently full of so much fluff 
as to make them useless for me at least.
