	Concerning profiling, I never did such a thing. What I did is wrote small app 
which does nothing but responds to mouse click on button and then opens 
another window. Results are the same, if I use Qt, Gtk+, or OpenMotif.
	I can provide code, but I do not think that that is really neccesery. 
BTW, kernel is 2.4.21-pre5, XFree 4.3.0, both compiled with gcc 3.2.2, as well 
as all libraries. Debug info is off.
