Hmm, that's an interesting way of looking at it.  The Linux vendors,
who make their living out of packaging up all this free stuff,
don't have the resources to do a good job of the packaging, while
the volunteers, who don't really get involved with packaging anyway,
do?

The common theme I'm seeing on this list is that most of you seem
to operate in a world where everything is backwards.  That would
explain a lot about the apparent disconnect between the "developers"
and the "community".
