This is not yet in 4.3, maybe it is for a few drivers, but not in
general. There is discution and plans on how to implement this in a
future release, check the threads about DDC and EDID on both this list
and the -devel one. Please note that there is also discution in the
linux-fbdev list about this exact same thing.
