You are aware that each patch you send get an ACK as return, as well as
a patch number, are you ? The i will look at it reply you ask for is not
needed, as that is the normal course of event. Sure a more verbose
method of doing this would be handy. Do you volunteer to implement
something of the kin ? Maybe a system akin to the debian BTS, were each
patch would receive a mail address, and the patch examiner woudl log his
intentions and use this channel for further discution with the patch
submitter. In addition a list of submitted patches together with the
date it was last posted to would be good to get an idea on how long you
would have to wait for your patch to be looked at or something such.
