NM2070 Screen Behavior

Hi,

I have made an exhaustive search of the list, newsgroups, and the xfree86
site
for this issue and finally I have to ask this question.

I have odd behavior when I move the cursor from left to right. It reaches a
point
about 30cm from the right edge of the screen and disappears or jumps 10cm to
the
right. As I do this a white block appears on the screen next to the "new"
cursor.
A vertical line appears near the cursor with "flickering" pixels streaming
down
the line.

In addition, there is a vertical line 10cm from the right side of the
screen. To
the right of the line the entire desktop is shifted down about 1mm.

This behavior is consistent across several windows managers.

The system is a DELL Latitude LM with the NeoMagic 2070 chipset.
Xfree86 is 4.1.0 from the woody debian distribution.

Otherwise, everything else is fine.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
