I'm also interested in an up to date patch. I attempted to pull the patch out of the list, but I haven't had any luck. Is there a repository somewhere where the progress can be followed in more detail until it's checked into CVS?

Since the next Redhat release is in beta test right now I thought I'd submit

a patch to add Xv support.  However, the last I heard was that the code had

not been committed to CVS yet.  Could someone advise me how I might generate

a patch to submit?
