question on neomagic driver and toshiba libretto 110

I just installed Mandrake 9.1 on my libretto 110

The laptop has a neomagic 2160 that I want to set to 800x480.

When I set up the 4.2.1 version of X, I don't get a resolution option of 
800x480

I tried xf86cfg and it seems to give me a displayheight480 option that doesn't 
do much.

I would appreciate any tips or suggestions
