Re: "sync out of range" in textmode after leaving X (or in VCs)

I fixed the textmode "sync out of range" problem by using
vga=795 in /etc/lilo.conf. details are in my previous email.

i fixed the following problem too.  details are in a new 
thread that i am about to create.
