Under the XDarwin menu, select "Preferences". If the preferences 
window that pops up does not have three tabs labelled "General", 
"Start Up" and "Full Screen" then you are using an old verison of 
XDarwin and you should update to the latest version of XFree86 for 
Mac OS X. If you select "About XDarwin" from the XDarwin menu you 
should have version 1.1 or newer, which corresponds to XFree86 4.2.0.
