Hi,

I recommend you to go to http://xfree86.org where you via sub pages can get to
the source code through several mirrors.

I myself is using Slakware (8.1) where you can also find pre compiled binaries
in .tar.gz (.tgz) for xfree86 4.2.0 and also for a "Slackware" version of the "rpm"
package.
