r u saying taht ur ATI..... adapter is not getting
detected or ur Laptop monitor isnot getting
porbed.......

I guess u need to change ur resolution in case ur ATI
is getting detected.....but not the monitor......i
used a generic laptop type monitor.....it doesnt
matter for linux....
