Hmm.  Looks like I forgot to send this on the other day....

Fontconfig-1.0.1's fc-cache dies when it hits a directory containing
code2001.ttf.  I presume it is due to the non-bmp characters in the
font.  ftview displays the font.  pfaedit says:

Invalid ttf vmtx table (or vhea), numOfLongVerMetrics is 0

and fonttools' ttdump dies in the maxp table, even when given
an -x maxp arg.

So perhaps the font is buggy.
