help on xf86

hi there,

I have downloaded the readme on installation binaries for upgrading my current old version Xfree86 to Xfree86 4.2.0.

I have postponed my binaries downloading due to my slower dial-up internet connection and downloading this 62.7 Mb xf86 binaries will take about 6 - 7 hours. 

My question is if I have installed this new version of Xfree86 4.2.0 on my freeBSD 4.x , can I run x on my ATI RADEON VE 7500 ?

I just want to ask before I'm going to download the newer version of xf86 4.2.0

Anyway please also guide me on how to install this new xf86 4.2.0
