Hi !

----

I've created a binary tarball for Linux x86 containing Xprt including
all required config files, see
http://puck.informatik.med.uni-giessen.de/download/xprint_linux_x86_005.tar.gz

Changes/fixes since release 002:
- Printer builtin fonts now working
- PS Type1 fonts are now correctly downloaded
- Fixed a couple of memory leaks
- Fixed a coupld of silly crashers
- Added support for downloading PFB fonts as PFA
- Fixed issue with PS DDX's pseudocolor visual
- Xprt now finds printers on Linux machines out-of-the-box
- Added a new |PSdefault| model-config which contains usefull defaults
for PostScript printers (to make the distribution working without the
need to modify the configuration)
- <... insert much more here...>

Comments/suggestions/bug reports welcome (please reply to the list...)
...

FAQs and some documentation (I am currently writing it... :) are
available from

Bye,
Roland

P.S.: I'll release a client-side utilities library (XprintUtils) next
week which will make the use of Xprint in applications much easier... :)
