I just sent a series of patches for both dockapps and whome that 
implement this.

Initially, I've added wmweather+ and wmstickynotes (two recently removed 
dockapps), and wmforecast, which I wrote.

If anyone would like to add more, instructions are in update-dockapps.pl 
in the dockapps repo.
