I have no objections to that as long as that feature exists and the
option is intuitive and logical and doesn't break anything else. :-)

Note that in older Windowmaker versions (up until (and I think including
but I am not sure any more) 0.95.3) double click on the docked icon could
be used to execute multiple instances of the application only if the
window attributes of the application are set so that application icon is
disabled for that specific application (it's in the window attributes
options under the Application Specific menu and the option is represented
as "No application icon").
