Hi Christian!

I have used filezilla with tls (ftps) several times in the last 4-5 years
but I have never experienced window manager related problems.

Here is the info about filezilla I have used in case you want to test
with the version I am using:
Filezilla: 3.7.3 x86_64
wxWidgets: 2.8.12
GnuTLS: 2.8.5
SQLite: 3.6.23.1
