Thanks much. Had already heard some good things about this utility so I 
must really check it out..

Presumably it's a plain GTK app and a can run without a full-fledged 
gnome environment.   

But after all the installing/removing etc. of gnome my gtk is somewhat 
broken..

So I'll have to fix that first.
