while it may be true that more and more people speak English I just  
today had the opportunity to talk to some people in German :-), so I'm  
quite convinced that English is not "the language spoken in the world  
today" but actually more than a 1000 languages are spoken every single  
day. Adapt to that.

IMHO this mailing list is about helping users of wmaker, not about  
discriminating people who don't speak English and the OP does obviously  
qualify as a user of wmaker.

In this particular case, the OP could perhaps easily have found a  
Spanish speaking community to take his question, but I think such does  
not exist for quite a lot of languages that are still spoken by  
millions of people. So while your statement may be correct for this  
particular post it's probably quite inconsiderate in the general case  
(in the context of which you stated it).
