I have to agree with Kjartan. He was just asking a question not demanding for anything or complaining about anything, and I don't know what driving force motivated some people around here to transform this simple question into a completely out of context Linux vs Windows fight. I'm sure everyone here is well intentioned, but remember, if your own contribution to the project is none or close to none, it's completely inappropriate and hypocritical to send others off by telling them to write their own and make a contribution in the spirit of open source. Currently very few people have earned the right to send someone off with such a comment, and not surprisingly they don't seem to be interested in using it. Maybe because they understand that none is under any obligation to contribute to the project, and they won't be convinced to help by rude and inappropriate send-offs like the one below, on the contrary.
