Ooh, now I see what you mean. You are right, this one is much more annoying
than the one I described. (I use myself the auto focus mode and alt-tab, so
I am hit by this misbehaviour quite frequently) And I am afraid it won't be
easy to reliably get rid of it... :/

Thanks for the details. Hopefully a WM-dev can tell WM to ignore an
EnterNotify event when it is "caused by" the disappearance of the switch
panel...
