Hi all,

wmSMPmon 3.0 has just been released. wmSMPmon is a dock app that monitors
the CPU utilization of up to two CPUs (hence the name...) as well as swap
and memory usage.

It has been around for a while, written and maintained by RedSeb. As of this
release, RedSeb has agreed to let me take over, as his time no longer allows
him to look after this little app. Thanks RedSeb!

Therefore, wmSMPmon has a new maintainer (me...) and a new home:

3.0 is my first release (and hopefully not the last one...) and contains the
following changes compared to the previous release (2.3):

    * wmSMPmon now supports Linux kernels 2.2, 2.4 and 2.6.
    * The OS dependent code has been separated from the the rest of the
program, hopefully making porting wmSMPmon to other OSes easier. If
you are interested in building a "back-end" for another OS (e.g.
Solaris, *BSD), please drop me a note!
    * wmSMPmon now properly supports single CPU machines! On a single
CPU machine, the CPU load bar is drawn wider and only one graph
      style is supported.
    * Processing of command line options has been improved - unknown
options and missing parameters are now dealt with.
    * The man page has been improved and now gets installed automatically
      as well

Suggestions, bugreports etc.pp. are of course welcome!

Regards,

Thomas
