X.org transparency

Hi

X.Org has just entered Debian Testing. I have been told (without knowing 
much about it), that in order to be able to use the transparency feature 
of X.org, you need an alpha-manager - which might be a window manager.

So I was wondering if the Window Maker crew was working on making Window 
Maker a usable aplha manager?
