have.<br><br>WindowMaker is probably started from .xsession and therefore 
may not run<br>the .bashrc file (whereas a terminal will of course do this). 
wmclock is<br>started by WindowMaker and inherits it's environment and 
therefore is still<br>in the old timezone.<br><br>You really should try to 
set the systems timezone appropriately to get this<br>right. I don't know 
about ubuntu but this is usually done with /etc/localtime<br>being a 
symbolic link to the timezone file. On Gentoo this is<br>in
