Oh yes, I did have to comment out that assignment. It compiled successfully
after removing the 'dropped_thing = ...' line. I think you're right that the
get_dnd_selection() was specific to the Offix DND support, which is now
dropped in favor of the XDND protocol.

But... my problem is not with compiling, but with runtime -- I can't get the
XDND to work consistently. It sometimes works, but only after a certain
amount of time running wmaker. I'm not even sure if it's time-related, but
I'll be using my system, and then after awhile I'll try the DND and all of a
sudden it works! I'm not sure what triggers it to work, but as soon as it
starts working, it continues working until wmaker stops.
