You answered that question yourself, below.

There you go.

The other core reason I use it is for the dockapps.  Nothing else supports
the wmaker dockapps as well as windowmaker itself...and no other
windowmanager has the tools available in such a useful interface.

I used to say I used it for it's stability, as well...but in the last few
years that hasn't exactly been the case.
