Hi I've been using Window Maker for quite a while now, and have discovered that sometimes wmaker seems to crash and restart itself. This is because I keep my system running and logged in for an indefinite period of time, so eventually it seems that some program will do something that wmaker does not like, and therefore the window manager crashes. Window Maker crashing/restarting is not a big deal though, since once it's back up--everything is just as before. However--the configuration settings are reset to the last time I started WindowMaker. I know you can choose "save workspace state" when exiting WindowMaker, but I would like to perform this action without exiting WindowMaker (that way, if wmaker crashes, it will restore to the last saved point). How can I do what the "save workspace state" option does (save the dock/clip positions, mainly) without exiting/restarting Window Maker?
