That being said, what did anyone do outside of a plain vanilla compile and install that got this feature to work properly? Is this a Windowmaker issue? Or is it an issue of what libraries are associated with a given Linux distribution? I'd think it would have something to do with the call to xsetroot, or whatever call it is that takes over the full screen, which is not an Open Office issue. From what I've seen of the discussion on this so far, nothing has been said beyond it works with Debian Sarge 3.1 and Fedora Core 4. What's the underlying reason for it working or not?
