xfe dock icon stays grey after launch

Howdy,

I use xfe for my file manager, and when I launch it from the dock, instead
of turning grey for a moment and then going back to the normal color minus
the 3 dots, it just stays the grey color. The app works fine, and the dock
icon returns to normal when I exit xfe. So, this is more a matter of
curiosity than anything else. I have 10 other apps docked, and none of them
exhibit this behavior. I've also tried twiddling the appicon settings, no
effect there either.
